About the Job:
Reporting to the Head of Department, the objective is to teach in allocated areas.
Responsibilities:
- Teach in areas allocated by the Head of Department.
- Design, develop, plan, and deliver programmes of study, including for new courses.
- Deliver high-quality lectures and practicals.
- Review and update course content and materials regularly.
- Collaborate with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes, and research activities.
- Carry out research and write research grant proposals.
- Seek and participate in consultancies.
- Present research papers at conferences and similar events.
- Disseminate research outputs.
- Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree qualification in Human Resource Management from a recognised/accredited University in the relevant field.
- At least three (3) years of post-qualification work experience.
- Demonstrated potential for university teaching and research.
- Commitment to high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
