About the Job:

Reporting to the Head of Department – Business and Economics, the objective is to teach Course Units in allocated areas.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Course Units in areas allocated by the Head of Department.
• Evaluate the outcomes of individuals’ learning through formal assessment.
• Assist in the development of learning materials, produce study manuals, prepare schemes of work, and maintain records.
• Monitor student progress, achievement, and attendance and follow through as needed.
• Set, moderate, invigilate, and mark examinations and other assessments.
• Carry out research, write research grant proposals, and obtain support for research funding.
• Seek and participate in consultancies.
• Disseminate research outputs.
• Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
• Carry out administrative duties.
• Perform any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Master of Science in Health Systems Management degree or in a relevant field from a recognised/accredited University.
• Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management degree or in the relevant field from a recognised/accredited University.
• At least three years of post-qualification work experience.
• Demonstrated potential for university teaching and research.
• Commitment to high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
