About the Job:

Stewards are essential to maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the kitchen and dining areas. This role requires a strong work ethic and a focus on hygiene.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely cleaning of all kitchen utensils, crockery, and cutlery
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, storage areas, and dishwashing stations
• Assist chefs with basic preparation as required
• Safely handle cleaning agents and equipment
• Adhere to safety protocols and sanitation guidelines
• Properly store clean utensils and ensure availability during service
• Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain waste segregation

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a stewarding role
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning and dishwashing tasks for extended periods
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Dependability and punctuality
