About the Job

The State Department for Sports is seeking a Sports Registrar. This entry-level position involves analyzing and processing applications for sports organizations and professional sports bodies, undertaking litigation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Analyzing and processing applications for registration of sport organizations.
Analyzing and processing applications for licensing of professional sports bodies and professional sports persons.
Undertaking litigation on behalf of the Office.
Verifying information submitted by sports organization and sports persons to ensure compliance.
Conducting name search for registration of new sports organizations and professional sports bodies.
Carrying out search on information contained in the registers for sports organization and bodies.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a university recognized in Kenya.
A valid Practicing Certificate from the Law Society of Kenya.
Be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
A Diploma in Law from the law Council of Legal Education.
