About the Job

Equip Africa Institute, a TVET-Accredited institution of Mount Kenya University offers quality competence-based training at diploma, certificate and artisan levels in various disciplines. MKU invites applications for the vacant position of SENIOR MANAGER, TVET PROGRAMMES in Equip Africa Institute.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational support to the Executive Director in the management and expansion of TVET programmes.
Support the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of TVET curriculum and training standards.
Engage in teaching activities in area of specialization.
Coordinate and ensure compliance with industry partners, regulatory agencies, and training centers to ensure relevance and quality of training.

Requirements

Master’s degree in a relevant area and a Diploma in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), or its equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience in managing or coordinating TVET programs in a higher education or skills training institution.
Knowledge of national and regional TVET policies, curriculum development, and competency-based education and training.
