About the Job

The Senior Ambulance Operator position is permanent and pensionable within Job Group ‘L’. This role involves leading and supervising a team of disaster ambulance operators, responding to emergency calls, and maintaining ambulance equipment.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for operational guidance and support.
Lead and supervised a team of disaster ambulance operators.
Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance.
Maintain ambulance equipment and ensure readiness for deployment.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
Train and mentor disaster ambulance operators.
Collaborate with other emergency response teams and agencies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management, Public Health or Community Health, Public Safety or Emergency along with relevant experience.
Served satisfactorily as Disaster Ambulance Officer I and above for at least two (2) years.
Shown merit and ability in work performance and results.
