About the Job:

This role is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and maintaining the Reverse Osmosis (RO) equipment and related intake systems. The operator ensures proper repair and maintenance of filtration, electric motor pumps, and valves to regulate raw water flow and complies with relevant food safety, OHS, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• RO Plant Water Management (Operate and maintain RO Plant, inspect systems, collect water samples, perform water quality testing, identify and troubleshoot operational issues).
• Compliance and Safety (Support safety programs and policies).
• TPM and Continuous Improvement (Support TPM way of working and improvement activities).
• Collaboration (Collaborate with other operators, maintenance technicians, and engineers).

Requirements:

• Academic Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, RO Plant Operation and Maintenance, Food Science and Technology, Industrial Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Professional Qualifications: Technical certifications or training in water treatment or RO operations are desirable.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Technical Competencies: Knowledge of RO systems and operating principles, data analytical skills, basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, attention to detail, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Behavioural Competencies: Good communication skills, analytical skills, logical reasoning and critical analysis, ability to work with minimal supervision.
