About the Job

Reporting to the Relationship Manager, Business, the officer will be responsible for overseeing growth of the loan book, deposit mobilization, onboarding customers on digital platform and providing insurance solutions to the customers within the bank.

Responsibilities

Onboard and train customers on digital platforms.
Acquire new customers through marketing and institutional visits to private institutions, NGOs, parastatals, and government institutions.
Conduct strategic marketing drives and forums, including counties and schools.
Facilitate MOUs and loan facilities through customer and institutional appraisals.
Ensure timely loan approvals and disbursements within SLAs.
Compile loan applications for discussion at the Branch Credit Committee (BCC).
Complete loan contracts by explaining risks, reviewing applications, obtaining signatures, and batch proofing.
Review financial data to determine risk factors for decision-making at the BCC.
Engage with customers daily to manage arrears.
Conduct post-disbursement visits to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance.
Assist clients in determining the most suitable loan to meet their financial objectives and needs.
Promptly follow up on customer complaints until resolved.
Maintain and manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Mobilize deposits.

Requirements

University degree in a Business-Related Course, Education, Social Sciences or Advanced Diploma in business related course.
Overall C+ in KCSE (C+ in mathematics).
2-3 Years’ experience.
Sales experience is an added advantage.
Experienced in project management.
Monitoring and evaluation is an added advantage.
Computer literacy with high command in Microsoft suite.
Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
Excellent business relationship management skills and business closure techniques.
Ability to develop, plan, execute and implement according to laid business strategies.
