About the Job

The Orthopedic Trauma Technologist III position is a permanent and pensionable role with allowances as per SRC guidelines, offered by the County Government of Machakos.

Responsibilities

Manipulating and reducing fractures and dislocations
Fixing and removing casts, bandages and traction to and from patient/clients
Correcting Congenital Talipes Equino-Varus (C.T.E.V)
Counseling patient on issues regarding orthopedic trauma
Cleaning and treating simple wounds resulting from orthopedic trauma
Documenting orthopedic and trauma case
Assessing and referring patient with musculoskeletal condition

Requirements

Diploma in Orthopaedic plaster technologist
Certificate in computer skills
