About the Job

The Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) is seeking a Merchant Shipping Fees Officer. This role is responsible for the supervision and management of the MS Fees (Oversight and Monitoring Fees).

Responsibilities

Assist in data mining and analysis of MS Fees.
Assist in projection and reconciliation of MS Fees.
Assist in maintaining records and data on MS Fees.
Assist in processing refunds of excess MS Fees charged against importers and exporters.
Assist in production of periodic reports on MS Fees collections.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Maritime Studies, Port Management, Shipping, Transport Economics, logistics, Business Management/Administration or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in Computer Applications.
