About the Job

To ensure plant assets are maintained in a sound working condition by planning and engaging in preventive and corrective maintenance and ensuring energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance for all equipment and machinery.
Ensure all machines are in optimal working conditions to avoid production delays.
Trouble shooting and repairing malfunctioning machine and equipment.
Perform repairs or replace faulty parts to minimize downtime.
Document maintenance activities, including service reports and maintenance logs.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., production, QA) to resolve equipment-related issues.
Conduct regular inspection of machinery to detect potential issues before they cause failures.
Record inspection results and maintenance activities in plan’s maintenance management system.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures.
Any other duties assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum three years’ experience in a related field.
Able to read and interpret technical diagrams and drawings.
Attention to cost and downtime management.
Ability to trouble shoot electrical systems both in power and control systems.
