About the Job
This is an entry-level role for a dynamic, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant who is digitally savvy, proactive, and will support a broad range of marketing activities across Liberty Group’s brands, including content creation, social media management, campaign coordination, and procurement.
Responsibilities
- Social Media & Community Management: Schedule and publish content, respond to messages and comments, liaise with Brand Managers, track engagement metrics.
- Content Creation: Capture video and photo content, edit content using mobile-friendly software, collaborate on storytelling, bring an authentic voice to social content.
- Administrative & Campaign Support: Assist in coordinating campaign timelines, maintain digital assets, support preparation of briefs and reports, manage procurement of materials, coordinate event logistics.
- Graphic Design (Ad Hoc/Support): Create digital designs in Canva, update existing templates, provide quick-turnaround designs.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Interact with internal departments and external suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a marketing, administrative, or content creation role.
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, and a passion for using social media creatively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Canva required; basic Excel skills preferred.
- Experience with simple video editing tools is a plus.
- Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn.
- A natural content creator mindset is a plus.
