This is an entry and training grade for this cadre within the State Department for Irrigation. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. 116

Responsibilities

Collating and compiling data for irrigation planning. 117
Organizing farmers meetings for irrigation participatory development. 118
Setting up of demonstration plots. 119
Implementing irrigation action plans. 120

Requirements

Must have a Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness or Agricultural Resource Management from a university recognized in Kenya. 121
