About the Job

The primary purpose is to plan and coordinate the purchasing of workshop materials and diesel. This involves sourcing the best suppliers and ensuring proper reorder levels are maintained for smooth operations, guided by company policy, MSC code of conduct, and national laws.

Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to procurement policies, control stock (water), issue consumable stock, maintain stock control/bin cards, prepare/issue LPOs, receive goods/prepare GRNs, update received goods in the system, reconcile supplier invoices, spearhead quarterly & annual stock take, prepare & reconcile monthly stock, fuel machines, perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

Education: Degree/Diploma in Procurement and contract management/Supply chain management. Specialized knowledge: Procurement and supplies. Skills: Analytical skills, Leadership skills, Self driven & disciplined, Computer literacy, good communication skills, team player and high level of integrity. Professional Certification: CPSP-K/CIPS (Added Advantage). Experience: At least 2 years in a similar position.
