About the Job

Assisting the factory supervisor in general factory administrative and supply chain duties, including supporting production, inventory management, handling deliveries, logistics, and maintaining factory supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Support production activities including receipt and dispatch of materials.
  • Plan work order releases to the production team and ensures schedules are met.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock taking for factory store.
  • Handle all administrative and factory management support with a high level of independence, initiative, discretion, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Assist in planning and monitoring production and maintaining inventory levels of components and finished goods to ensure consistent levels of finished goods are on hand to satisfy customer demand.
  • Receive and reconcile deliveries against purchase orders and double-check all necessary documentation.
  • Handle logistics of order deliveries.
  • Enforcing company policies.
  • Research, Store & maintain factory supply inventories.
  • Perform general administrative duties mailing, & filing.
  • Replies to actions as needed with proper handling of sensitive and classified material.

Requirements

  • Diploma in business supply chain/ warehouse management.
  • Minimum of 2 years related supply chain/warehouse assistant experience.
  • Must be able to handle all activities with high confidentiality and a high level of initiative and independence.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suites and Microsoft Dynamic Nav will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) and work cooperatively with all levels of management and employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, often under changing circumstances.
  • Ability to prioritize, anticipate needs and requirements and to follow through.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail are crucial.
