About the Job

Responsible for driving company vehicles, maintaining the vehicle in a good condition, carrying out minor repairs, and ensuring the safety of passengers and goods.

Responsibilities

Driving company vehicles as authorized.
Carrying out minor mechanical repairs.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle.
Maintaining a work ticket for vehicles assigned.
Detection and repair minor malfunctioning.

Requirements

Served in the grade of Driver for a minimum period of three (3) years.
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (Plus) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
A valid driving license free from any current endorsements for classes of vehicles C, E, and I.
Occupational Trade Test III for Drivers.
Attended a First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. John’s Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution.
Passed Suitability Test for Drivers.
Certificate of Good Conduct from the National Police Service.
