About the Job

The Disaster Ambulance Operator I position is permanent and pensionable within Job Group ‘K’. This role involves responding to emergency calls, providing medical assistance, and assisting in training junior operators.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance.
Assist in training and mentoring junior disaster ambulance operators.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Prepare and submit incident reports.
Monitor and maintain ambulance supplies and equipment.
Provides emergency medical services and support.
Support the operation and maintenance of ambulance equipment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, Public Health or Community Health, Public Safety or Emergency along with relevant experience.
Served satisfactorily as Disaster Ambulance Officer II and above for at least two (2) years.
Shown merit and ability in work performance and results.
