About the Job
The Corporate Communications Personnel are responsible for effective and efficient coordinating of all Communications related activities including, public relations, digital communications, and internal communications, sponsorships, events, brand and reputation management in the Agency. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and channeling incoming calls to the respective destinations.
- Booking outgoing calls and facilitate conversations between callers and receivers.
- Carrying out routine testing of exchange lines and switchboard facilities.
- Maintaining records of telephone equipment and peripherals.
- Updating the calls register by recording the necessary details of calls.
- Confirming visitors’ identification documents.
- Responding to customer enquiries and directing them to the respective destinations.
- Maintaining a register on all complaints raised by customers / visitors.
- Operating switch-board.
- Providing good customer care service.
Requirements
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Customer Service, Public Relations, International Relations and Diplomacy, Communication Management, Event Management, Front Office or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
- Membership to the Public Relation Society of Kenya (PRSK) or Media Council of Kenya (MCK) or any other relevant professional body and in good standing.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
