About the Job

This is the entry and training grade for the Finance/Budget Officers cadre within The National Treasury. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer. 36

Responsibilities

Compiling and formatting financial estimates. 37
Taking initial action on budget monitoring. 38
Preparing reports and briefs on budgetary policy issues. 39
Initial processing of reallocations within the budget. 40

Requirements

Must have a Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce (Finance Option), Finance, Economics or Business Management/Administration from a university recognized in Kenya. 41
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) K or Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) will be an added advantage. 42
