Job Description:
Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing and processing payments to suppliers and other creditors.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Prepare bank reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Process payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries and statutory deductions.
Reconcile general ledger accounts.
Prepare and submit tax returns.
Assist in internal and external audits.
Maintain proper filing system for financial documents.
Respond to queries from suppliers and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or its equivalent from a recognized institution with at least three (3) years working experience as Accounts Assistant Scale 6 or its equivalent. OR
Must have CPA II or ACCA II or its equivalent with at least six (6) years working experience as Accounts Assistant Scale 6 or its equivalent.
Must be ICT Competent (provide evidence).
