About the Job

The Public Communications Officer III position is offered on a three-year contract. This role involves information gathering on topical issues within the Department, verifying authenticity, editing, and dispatching information for dissemination.

Responsibilities

Information gathering on topical issues within the Department.
Verifying its authenticity, editing and dispatching the information for dissemination to the public and media under the guidance of a senior officer.

Requirements

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C plain with at least a C+ English and Kiswahili and C in any other relevant subjects or its approved equivalent.
Have a diploma in any of the following discipline: Journalism, Mass Communication, international Relations, Communication Studies, Public Relations or any other approved equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
Be Proficient in computer application.
