About the Job:

Responsible for working closely with the project team members and leads to help deliver strategic organizational projects efficiently. The business analyst is tasked to streamline user requirements and deliver quality, on time and on budget projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination and Administrative support: Gather and analyze business requirements, translate business needs into system requirements, ensure requirements align with goals, assist in developing/maintaining project plans, provide progress reports, facilitate stakeholder meetings, assist in preparing/distributing communications, assist in preparing/submitting documentation for regulatory approvals, provide administrative support for special events, handle other administrative tasks, assist in preparing presentations/reports.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, Vendor and the IT development team, facilitate effective communication, collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate to management on root cause issues and recommended solutions, monitor and train internal users on new systems, establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors, partner with other stakeholder teams, develop meaningful and lasting relationships, respond to questions from managers and executives.
  • Solution Design and Evaluation: Support delivery of continuous organizational process re-engineering/change strategy, participate in product development and implementation, conduct daily systems analytics, design and propose solutions, evaluate and recommend technology solutions, assess the feasibility and impact of proposed solutions.
  • Risk & Compliance: Attend training and comply with AML/CFT/CPF laws/rules/regulations, participate in AML/CFT/CPF bank programs, comply and not knowingly participate/assist in violations, report suspected money laundering cases, avoid misrepresentation and malicious reporting, avoid tipping off, not provide advice/assistance to individuals attempting to violate laws, respond to AML/CFT/CPF queries, co-operate with regulators and law enforcement.

Requirements:

  • Academic Background: University degree in Computer Science / Information Technology/ Project Management related field with minimum of Second-Class Honors, Upper Division.
  • Work Experience: At least 2 years in a Projects Management Position or a related field, 3+ years of proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity, Experience in business analysis or a related role.
