About the Job

The Catholic Diocese of Malindi is looking for a Primary & Junior School Teacher. This role involves student engagement, monitoring learning progress, planning and preparing teaching materials, and active participation in school activities.

Responsibilities

Student Engagement: teaching, student monitoring and class room management.
Engagement in school activities: duty attendance during school hours as defined by management and assisting in school activities outside work hours.
Monitor learning progress and achievement through exercises, tests, projects, examinations and the school diary.
To plan and prepare teaching and learning materials.
Carrying out assigned teaching and learning activities.

Requirements

A TSC compliant, degree/ diploma in secondary education or P1 certificate holder with CBC training.
With experience of not less than one year in the following teaching areas; Languages and Science up to Junior School.
A catholic with a recommendation from his/her priest is an added advantage.
