About the Job

The Mortician position is a permanent and pensionable role with allowances as per SRC guidelines, offered by the County Government of Machakos.

Responsibilities

Removal of the deceased from place of death
Receiving of bodies and tagging for proper identification
Escort mourners to funeral chapels
Organize the reception after service

Requirements

Kenya certificate of secondary school
One (1) year work experience in funeral establishment
Be a member of registered funeral professional association
Must have attended three (3) months training in embalming, mortuary science or funeral service education in a recognized institution
Computer skill certificate
