About the Job

Permanent position responsible for appreciating the principle of operation of the standard Medical and Hospital Equipment calibration, routine maintenance and repair, running of user training courses, ordering of spare parts and consumables, and supervision of Technical Staff.

Responsibilities

Appreciating the principle of operation of the standard Medical and Hospital Equipment calibration, routine maintenance and repair.
Running of user training courses at the Health Institutions.
Ordering of spare parts and consumables for the equipment under repair.
Supervision of Technical Staff working under him/her.

Requirements

Be a Kenyan citizen.
Be a holder of a Diploma Certificate in Medical Engineering from a recognized training institution.
Minimum of C Plain in KCSE.
Ability and competence in organizing, Performing and discharging duties and responsibilities as a Medical Engineering Technologist II.
OR Be a holder of a Diploma/ Higher National Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institutions and have a one-year work experience.
Have a registration certificate and a valid practicing license issued by the Medical Engineering Council of Kenya.
Knowledge of ICT is an added advantage.
