About the Job

An entry and training grade position working under the guidance of a senior officer, responsible for preparing schemes of work, instructing trainees, preparing course materials, conducting practical work, and managing training workshops or laboratories.

Responsibilities

Preparing schemes of work.
Instructing trainees in the area of specialization.
Preparing course materials in area of specialization.
Conducting practical work for trainees in area of specialization.
Manning a training workshop or laboratory.
Preparing machines, tools, equipment, training aids for use in the instructional field.

Requirements

Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Construction Plant Engineering, Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, Building Construction, Land Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; OR Technician Il and Ill (KNEC) Certificate in the relevant field.
Registration by the Kenya Engineering Technology Registration Board (KETRB) as a Candidate Engineering Technician; OR Registration by any other relevant professional body.
