About the Job

Permanent position responsible for collecting data on current economic trends to aid decision making by the county leadership, making recommendations on necessary planning areas, preparing reports, tables, and charts that present research results, interpreting and forecasting market trends, writing articles for publication, and analyzing and interpreting numerical and financial information for decision making.

Responsibilities

Collect data on current economic trends to aid decision making by the county leadership.
Make recommendations to the county leadership on necessary planning areas for consideration.
Prepare reports, tables, and charts that present research results and interpret and forecast market trends.
Write articles for publication in academic journals and other media sources on the development of the county.
Analyse and interpret numerical and financial information that is used for decision making in the county.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, or Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Statistics or its equivalence from a recognized University/Institution.
Be a Kenyan citizen.
