About the Job

The Chief Disaster Ambulance Operator position is permanent and pensionable within Job Group ‘M’. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact for operational guidance, responding to emergency calls, and organizing drills and simulations.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for operational guidance and support.
Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance.
Maintain ambulance equipment and ensure readiness for deployment.
Implement operational policies and procedures.
Organize drills and simulations to ensure they are prepared for various disaster scenarios.
Ensure effective communication and coordination between triage teams, ambulance crews, and healthcare facilities.
Build partnerships with hospitals and healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care during disasters.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, Public Health or Community Health, Public Safety or Emergency along with relevant experience.
Served satisfactorily as Senior Disaster Ambulance Officer and above for at least two (2) years.
Shown merit and ability in work performance and results.
