About the Job

An entry and training grade position working under the supervision and guidance of a senior officer, involved in interpreting building plans, designing and supervising building projects, and participating in the selection of interior design elements.

Responsibilities

Reading, interpreting and familiarizing with building drawings, blue prints and other building plans regarding the interior design and fittings.
Designing, document and supervision of building projects.
Participating in selection of colour schemes, window treatments, hardware, layouts, lighting fixtures, carpet, artwork, decorative accessories, paint and any other materials in interior design.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya.
Registered with Association of Designers of Kenya (Interior Design Chapter) or equivalent Professional Association recognized in Kenya.
