Job Description:

Responsibilities

Assist in conducting internal audits to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
Prepare audit working papers and reports.
Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
Review financial records and transactions to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Identify and report any weaknesses or deficiencies in internal control systems.
Assist in special investigations as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality of all audit information.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements

Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or its equivalent from a recognized institution with at least three (3) years working experience as Audit Assistant Scale 6 or its equivalent OR
Must have CPA II or ACCA II or its equivalent with at least six (6) years working experience as Audit Assistant Scale 6 or its equivalent.
Must be ICT Competent (provide evidence).
