About the Job

The State Department for Roads is seeking a Lecturer for K.I.B.T. This entry-level position involves preparing schemes of work, lecturing, and assessing trainees in various engineering and built environment disciplines.

Responsibilities

Preparing schemes of work, teaching materials and aids.
Lecturing and demonstrating concepts in the area of specialization.
Taking part in setting and marking of course work and examinations in the area of specialization.
Taking part in conduction and assessment of practical projects for the trainees.
Participating in extra-curricular activities for trainees.
Participating in guidance and counseling of trainees.
Collecting and collating trainee progress records.
Taking part in follow up of trainees on attachment.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geospatial Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Mechatronics Engineering, Architecture or equivalent from a university recognized in Kenya.
Registration by relevant professional body as a graduate.
