About the Job

The Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business needs of stakeholders, including customers and end-users. This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical solutions , working with domain experts to identify requirements, address usability concerns, and document solutions. Under the guidance of a senior Business Analyst, this person will help in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and comprehensive solutions for changes and projects.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for projects, systems, or processes.
Assist in prioritizing business requirements and defining project scope and objectives.
Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders and IT teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements.
Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure the final product meets documented requirements and specifications.
Provide support to end-users during implementation and post-implementation phases.
Monitor changes in baseline requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools.
Work with senior business analysts to manage requirements, traceability information, and track requirements status throughout the project.
Contribute to the development of test plans and test scripts, and perform test execution to ensure the solution aligns with business needs.
Assist in training end-users, creating training materials and user guides, and overseeing the process of guaranteeing user acceptance and competency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
Professional Qualifications such as ITIL Foundation, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), TOGAF Certification (additional advantage).
Project Management certification such as PRINCE II (Practitioner) / Agile PM / PMI-ACP / Certified Agile Project Manager (IAPM) / Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (additional advantage).
2 years’ progressive experience in Information Technology (essential).
1 year of experience in Business analysis and architecture (essential).
1 year’ experience in IT Projects (essential).
1 year experience in Emerging Technologies (e.g., Mobile, Internet Banking, Cloud, Microservices etc.) (desired).
1 year of experience working in a fast-paced agile environment (desired).
