About the Job

The Co-operative University of Kenya (CUK) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced internal staff with excellent credentials to fill the vacant position of Lecturer in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) within the School of Computing and Mathematics, Department of Computer Science and Information Technology.

Responsibilities

Ability to teach/conduct research and supervise students and/or staff.
Ability to design and develop academic programmes and curricula.

Requirements

Must possess a PhD, Masters and Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) or a relevant field from an accredited/recognized University.
Possession of the following requirements will be an added advantage:
Experience in developing and reviewing curriculum.
Experience in the Industry or academia.
Evidence of publications and attraction of research funds.
Membership in a relevant professional body.
Demonstrate leadership skills.
Demonstrate communication skills.
Demonstrate interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate ability to work under pressure skills.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
