They are seeking two Customer Service Assistants for their Thika & Nakuru Campuses. The Directorate of Human Resource aims to attract, develop, and retain qualified staff to support the University’s mission and operations.

Responsibilities

Receiving and handling all walk-in inquiries, assisting and directing clients accordingly.
Assisting and giving feedback to clients on inquiries made.
Receiving all internal and external calls and subsequently giving feedback on issues brought to the Customer Care desk.
Responding to social media inquiries.
Following up on non-reported walk-in clients and applicants to ensure they report and giving feedback reports on the same.
Participating in field recruitment activities.
Generating and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Assisting during the admission of new students by opening files for the new students.
Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the section or departmental head.

Requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Communication/Marketing/Public relations or in any other related area of specialization.
One (1) year experience in a customer support role.
Must be Computer Literate.
OR Higher National Diploma in Communication/Marketing/Public relations or in any other related area of specialization.
Two (2) years’ experience in Grade 7 at MKU or at a similar position in a recognized academic institution.
Previous experience in a customer support role.
Must be Computer Literate.
