About the Job

This role provides exceptional nursing care, administers treatments, monitors patient progress, and educates patients and families on health conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to Patients in accordance with Hospital Policies and Protocols.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by Physicians.
Monitor Patient progress and document observations accurately.
Educate Patients and Families about Health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
Maintain a safe and hygienic environment in Patient care areas.
Collaborate with other Healthcare Professionals to ensure comprehensive Patient care.
Handle emergency situations promptly and effectively.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control Standards.
Participate in continuous Professional Development and Training Sessions.
Contribute to the improvement of nursing care services through feedback and innovation.

Requirements

Diploma in Nursing (KRCHN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognized Institution.
Valid Nursing Council of Kenya License.
At least 2 years of clinical experience in a Hospital setting.
Experience in specialized areas such as Maternity, Pediatrics, or Critical care will be an added advantage.
