About the Job:
Kimisitu Sacco is seeking dynamic Relationship Officers to manage and nurture relationships with new and existing members. The role focuses on driving growth in member recruitment, retention, and product uptake, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure member satisfaction and contribute to the Sacco’s growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective members.
- Deliver and achieve assigned regional sales targets in liaison with Regional Sales Agents.
- Actively recruit new members and ensure high levels of member retention.
- Promote the full range of Sacco products and services, driving uptake.
- Participate in sales activations, outreach programs, and marketing events.
- Conduct presentations and workshops to educate members.
- Supervise and mentor the Regional Sales Agents.
- Provide advisory services to members on available financial solutions.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on relationship management activities and sales performance.
- Work closely with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
- Ensure all member accounts and interactions comply with KYC, AML, and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Co-operative Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer relationship management, sales, or business development, preferably within the financial or cooperative sectors.
- Proficiency in computer applications and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of SACCO operations, products, and regulations is an added advantage.
